| | This past weekend I finally finished setting up my new apartment. It's on 29th and 3rd ave within walking distance of K town, which is good because that's where we end up eating after going out 90% of the time. The only thing I really miss about LA food wise is the Mexican food. It's impossible to get a good torta around here.
I know I'm behind on this, but my roommate just bought Rock Band and we have been playing non stop for the past few days. By the time I reach Expert on the drums, my right calf is going to be HUGE from playing the bass drum. It's a real work out. Of course, I could just go to the gym and actually work out, but with a right calf this muscular, who needs to?
So Friday evening we're jamming out with the volume all the way up when I hear a loud knock on the door. It was my neighbor. I found out that her name is Reika and that she doesn't appreciate hearing Weezer "Say it ain't so" five times in a row coming through her wall. Especially not with me singing it. I apologized and invited her to be a member of our band, "Poon Masters Extraordinaire" but she wasn't interested. Note to self: Being in virtual rock band not as cool as being in actual rock band.
In another revelation I found out that I am naturally gifted at video game guitar. I mean, I don't wanna brag but I started on the Hard setting. I have a feeling it has something to do with my 13 years of classical violin training because my other friend who played the violin was also a natural at Guitar Hero. I can now call my mother and let her know that all those years of hard work have finally paid off. Now I'm just waiting for Violin Hero to come out so I can really impress the ladies.
